Dual Readout Calorimeter - R&D on new calorimeter concepts
This area is meant to collect meetings related to the study and development of a novel dual read out calorimeter. This calorimeter should serve both as electromagnetic and hadronic calorimeter making the need for a dedicated electromagnetic section unnecessary. The detection of cerenkov photons will allow to correct the hadronic response of the calorimeter and to improve the hadronic energy resolution. These meetings will normally have telephone, video, or internet attendees.
