Present: Jorge, Jenny, Michael, R.P.

  • Important to define the centre-of-mass energies that will contribute to the fit and the BSM scenarios for projection
    • by default cm energies are 90, 250 GeV, tt-mass, 550 and 1 TeV, what would be CLIC energies?
    • Orientation at PPG proposals for BSM
  • Global fit will need input very soon, will launch call
  • Systematic and statistical errors
    • Estimate of impact of systematic errors
      • Which experimental systematics to be taken into account, e.g. polarisation, b-tagging lumi?
      • These were used in 20127 by Jenny, Michael, Junping et al., see https://arxiv.org/pdf/1708.08912
  • top quark input should assume 500 (550) GeV and 1 TeV
  • Fit will include 2f off the pole
    • Input for b, c, s will come from IFIC/IJCLab group
    • Check with Taikan for leptons
  • Global fit will contain partial NLO SMEFT
    • 1 loop for ee->ZH
    • tree level for ee->WW and ee->tt
  • Global fit should contain latest resuts of double Higgs study by Jenny et al.
  • For the interpretation the presentation is important since the colorful Manhattan plots are often not very conclusive (attractive) in particular when more and more observables enter the fit
  • For completeness I add three bullet points from my notes of which I don't remember anymore the context
    • "Nachtmann/Diehl paper"
    • "Coupling <-> partial width" maybe to underline the connection between these quantities
    • "Four separate plots" (in context with "Coupling <-> partial width"
