Participants: Angeles Faus-Golfe, Emilio Nanni, Roman Poeschl, Jenny List

  • C3:
    • Emilio started to write, will copy into overleaf by the end of the week
    • Conclusion on CFS compatibility: ILC-type damping rings usable for C3, no further excavations needed. A bit larger tunnel diameter could be more comfortable, but should fit.
    • prepare tunnel cross-section drawing, make modulators fit below beamline
    • cryostat ready at Chinese production company :)
    • liquid nitrogen and safety regulations? Not clear what the actual issue is, Angeles will contact CERN safety experts
  • CLIC:
    • driven-beam machine will not make sense in existing tunnel
    • will look into klystron-driven version
    • like Emilio did for C3, check which subsystems can be re-used
  • general:
    • what should be considered as upper limit on AC power consumption?
    • ILC limit 300 MW (reached for 1 TeV machine), FCCee@365GeV 350 MW => stay with 300MW, point out where / when this becomes a limiting factor
