Can you find an appended PDF file with I updated the FD table since the ATF2 Annecy meeting ? Most of them are collections from presentations at the 3rd ATF2 project meeting, previous GM measurement and a CLIC note on the active tables ( S.Redaelli's Dr. Thesis) in order to understand the present status. ------ Each page in the file shows as follows; p.2 GM data: power spectrum and integrated amplitude spectrum, presented by R.Sugahara p.3 GM data and coherence for L=0m(huddling test) and L=4m, presented by R.Sugahara ; The coherence becomes small above 4Hz. p.4 specification table of the CLIC active table, S.Redaelli, CERN-AB-2004-026 (ABP) and by B.Bolzon ; We can see the resonant frequency of 0.2 - 0.4 Hz on the active table, whose value depends on load on the table. There are some differences between the two tables. What is the reason ? p.5 the specification by B.Bolzon p.6 vibrations of the active table: integrated amplitude, presented by B.Bolzon p.7 transfer function of the table integrated RMS, presented by B.Bolzon p.8 comparison with the above function and the table-to-ground ratio by S.Redaelli ; There is some difference for 0.4 < f < 1Hz . p.9 the table-to-ground ratios of integrated RMS and power, S.Redaelli, CERN-AB-2004-026 (ABP) ; This shows that the amplification is 1.1 for f <0.8Hz. p.10 integrated amplitudes as a function of time for f>1Hz, measured by H.Yamaoka, 2004 Feb. ; please look at V-girder and V-floor, where V-girder shows vibrations on the girder-table which are standard support tables at ATF. p.11 integrated amplitudes as a function of time for f>5Hz, measured by H.Yamaoka, 2004 Feb. ; please look at V-girder and V-floor, where V-girder shows vibrations on the girder-table which are standard support tables at ATF. As you can see, the amplification factor is 1.5 on the V-girder. p.12 integrated amplitudes as a function of time for f>10Hz, measured by H.Yamaoka, 2004 Feb. ; please look at V-girder and V-floor, where V-girder shows vibrations on the girder-table which are standard support tables at ATF. p.3-15 Monalisa (CSM) system, presented by D.Urner p.16 installation schedule and method of IPBPM, presented by Y.Honda -------- I would like to point out that measurement of the amplification must be very delicate , which depends on loads, structure of table. Therefore, your measurements must be very important. Also, an independent monitoring of relative displacement between the FD-system and Shintake monitor must be essential for such delicate system. We would like to strongly support Monalisa at ATF2. IPBPM is an essential monitor to measure beam positions at the Shintake monitor. These monitoring must have accuracy of nanometer level. We will discuss more on the video/phone conference. Best regards, Toshiaki Tauchi
