(The latest version of the MOA and Addendum 2007 are on the website of meeting #44: http://ilcagenda.linearcollider.org/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2377) The remaining groups are asked to 'get with it', and if you haven't done so, please send your signature by normal mail to me Ron Settles Max-Planck-Instute for Physics Foehringer Ring 6 D-80805 Munich and I will put together a master version and send a copy to all groups. 2. LP cosmic trigger The cosmic-trigger status was summarized in Paul's slides on the agenda site. A team has started work at Saclay (names on slides). Progress is good, delivery can be expected in January, and cosmic triggering could start in March. 3. LP endcap and fieldcage Dan went through the latest items on his website: http://w4.lns.cornell.edu/~dpp/linear_collider/LargePrototype.html. For details, click on -"page of current drawings" -"page of Assembly configurations" -"page for the Gas Seal test" -"page for the Stress Relief tests Items covered during the phonemeeting were as follows: ----------------------------------------------------- -Vendors Dan has asked 3 vendors to make a "stress plate" to test their abilities. -There was a lengthy discussion between Dan and users which I won't summarize here because of the transitory nature of the details but just say about what, namely: light-holes, gas-holes and "fun"-hole positions/sizes. Dean has specified the light holes. Leif and Sasha asked about brackets for the electronics, and Klaus about fixing "feet" for sliding the chamber in and out on rails. Peter and Dan discussed about sizes of holes endplate<->endplate and radius of 0-ring groove. Dan requested users to give final specifications the day before the next meeting, i.e., 18 December, so that he can place the order with the chosen vendor on time. -Module Back-Frames are being fabricated, 2 each for Akira, Paul and Martin. -Field cage threaded inserts must pass a test of 3600N pull-out force. -Field Cage Termination Plates: work in progress. -Alexei's laser was not discussed because he couldn't attend today's meeting. He will send a drawing. 4. Because the above discussion was long, Leif will report on the status of the electronics at the next phonemeeting. 5. AOB Next phonemeeting: WP#46 on 19 December 2007, usual time. Meeting page: http://ilcagenda.linearcollider.org/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2472
