    ************************************************** August 20 16:00 - 17:30, ATF LC meeting room, KEK Participants : Tauchi, Terunuma, Kubo, Okugi, Oroku, Yamanaka *** Progress of Shintake monitor (ATF2 IP-BSM) work *** Slides by Masahiro Oroku (Univ. of Tokyo) --Detector-- *The table for the gamma ray detector was found in the assembly hall. *The allighment of the detector is at the same time as bend, FF magnet. --Interlock-- *The radiation safety interlock in IP area works separately from others. Even if other interlocks are cleared, the interlock in IP area is suspended unless door at the fence is opened. *One idea for stabilizing laser is to set shutter in the laser transport line. It makes stopping laser power not necessary. But only one electric shutter is not enough for the safety. *Another idea is to make only Q-switch trigger off as interlock. The energy of flash lamp is classified safe level? --plans-- *Sep 15, 16 the menbers of Lapp are going to come *Sep 25 26 install the IP chamber *In the beam time, radiation inspection is at Dec 10. The 1st priority is to pass the beam to the dump until that day. The meaningful data for IP-BSM is going to be measured after that.
