SPIDER Testbeam meeting 16/06/2009 Present J. Wilson (Birmingham), G. Zhang, J. Strube , M. Stanitzki (RAL) Minutes: Marcel Marcel said, that Rui sends his apologies. He sent a short summary on the current status of TPAC: " I am stuck at the Xilinx Place and Route step, I still suspect there is something no quite right in synthesis. I emailed David earlier today and ask him to check it as well ..." John reported on the birmingham board efforts, so it will have both TTL and LVDS outputs so we can use whatever is needed in the USBDAQ. The board is being laid out this week and will the be manufactured. A cost estimate for two completed board will be in the order of £400. Marcel reported he has 4 USB cards with 4/5 ports each sitting on his desk. For Fortis there are no news, TPAC has a meeting on Thursday but Gary reported on ISIS. Oxford is trying to duplicate the RAL teststand in order to cross-check the measurements. They have successfully calibrated the test structure using 55Fe. They have been running ISIS now at 10 C, which yielded better performance than running at -20 C, however the high resitivity problem still persists and slows ISIS2 down. Nigel circulated some slides on the TPAC online monitoring, he'll work with Jan on Thursday Next meeting 30th of June 1100
