Hi Jim,

as discussed earlier, the communicators would not only like to discuss the
possibility of an outreach event (a lecture, for example), but we plan two other
things for the September meeting.

Firstly, we'd like to apply for a parallel session in which we might do
something like a writing workshop -- but we'll do some market research before we
decide, so we'd like to refer to it as 'Communication' for the time being.

Secondly, we plan to create first collisions at the ILC with a game during the
workshop. It does not have to be part of the scientific programme but could for
example take place just after the dinner or reception to have everybody there,
but not infringe on the agenda. We'd need a relatively large space / surface
area, some support from local organisers (though minimal) and it would take 1 -
1.5 hours. Do you think that can be done?

Thanks and best wishes
Barbara (for the ILC communicators)
