Mail to ILD-EB (22-April)

as discussed at the Paris and Beijing ILD meetings, we are planning to 
have an ILD Software Workshop with a slightly extended scope this summer.

The current proposal would be to host it at DESY from 
Tuesday July, 6 to Thursday July 8 (or optionally the week before).

Please let us know if you have any objections to that by monday - 
in particular if there is an important ILD related meeting at the 
same time that we have missed.


A very rough draft agenda could be:

 Tuesday:  
   morning:      progress in core and reco tools
   afternoon:    progress in bg and optimization studies


 Wednesday:
    morning:    progress in finalizing simulation sub-detector drivers
                      (reports from Mokka-sw-contatcs)

    afternoon:  detector integration related to software
                      cabling and services / level of detail in simulation
                    [ together with experts from integration ]
                  
 Thursday:
    morning:   Plans for future Monte Carlo production
                     ILD goals for the DBD wrt. software
                 [ everyone from ILD would be encouraged to participate, 
		at least remotely ]


This way, we start with the more expert related topics and finish with 
the general ILD related discussion.
