We would like to encourage contributions from young researchers, especially PhD students, as much as possible. Following critical review of beam instrumentation and beam tuning status, we would like to make a strategy to achieve the first goal and a preparation for the second goal until next project meeting, summer, 2012.

First, presenting the plans and strategy to make the IPBSM operational / reliable, also eventually as an automated tool which can be used by everyone in the ATF2 commissioning / operations team. Our goal when proposing this talk was to open a discussion whether this test is suitable and interesting for ATF. Just as an illustration of specifications: CLIC DR extraction is specified to have rise and fall times of 700ns with a flattop of 160ns.
