The files data0.txt and data3.txt are both measurement series of field emission current as a function of voltage over the electrodes. The first column in each file is voltage values (in volts) and the second column is current values (in amperes).

Both measurements were done with an electrode gap distance of 20 micrometres, and using an iridium cathode. The work function of iridium is 5.27 eV.

In both cases, the field enhancement factor beta is to be determined from the data.
