The Americas Workshop on Linear Colliders is the next in the series of regional linear collider workshops held around the world. Although the workshop is in the American region we expect strong international participation. The purpose of the workshop is the continued development of the physics case, and and advancing detector and accelerator designs for a high energy linear electron-positron collider. This meeting will particularly address the developments for the International Linear Collider (ILC), which Japan is considering to host. The workshop will consist of plenary and parallel sessions as well as meetings of the collaborations involved in the development of linear colliders.
