News

There was surprisingly positive feeling about the political situation at the Santander meeting, with signs that there is finally pressure in Japan for MEXT to reach a decision. This will probably be timed to input to the next European Strategy discussion in 2018.

Aidan discussed the priorities for the DD4HEP implementation. This includes getting the CLIC tracking algorithms running.

Oxford have now employed a PDRA on the AIDA project to build up the mechanical testing facility. They have already started contacting prospective users.

The Bristol talk on pile-up studies was postponed until there was a larger attendance.
