Minutes:

  • Chris is writing a primer on ILC Physics and SiD Software Tools, meant for advanced undergraduates and beginner graduate students. Need feedback on the existing sections, and information for the Optimization section. The document will live of arXiv, and will be updated when things change. Chris also continues to work on pySiDR.
  • Dan asked about SiD detector subgroups in view of requirements/feedback regarding the SiD_o2_v03 model implementation and functionality. Jim says that drafting an organizational chart will be more feasible next year if/when we have some signal(s) on the prospects of SiD and ILC. 
  • Dan proposed to move the meeting one hour later, to make it easier for the majority of US participants to join in. All agreed.

Next meeting will be on Oct 23rd, and will start one hour later that the previous ones.
