Attending: Aidan, Andy, Amanda, Chris, Christian, Dan, Dwayne, Jim, Lucas, Marty, Michael
Minutes:
- Jim - Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS) for SiW ECal - smaller pixel size (50x50micron); could lower material budget and costs; ongoing study with many UO contributors
- Chris - Higgs to invisible - MVA studies; it is hoped that this analysis will be part of the SiD optimisation; first pass using a TMVA Multilayer Perceptron sees sizeable significance enhancements; more stats needed (simulations ongoing)
- Amanda - draft slides for LCWS, some inputs still to be included; needs comments/feedback on the abstract by Friday (Feb 19); will give rehearsal talk at the next SiD opt. meet.
- Lucas - presented structure of his LCWS talk, based on last six months' worth of work on H → τ+τ− CP Violation; comments/feedback on the abstract needed by Friday (Feb 19); about mixing angle precision improvement wrt to ILD as goal - Jim will think about a physics goal by Lucas' rehearsal talk at the next SiD opt. meet.
Next meeting: March 3, 2021
