Attending: Amanda, Andy, Chris D, Chris P, Dan, Jim, Marty

Minutes:

Amanda will be soon working for NASA on silicon pixel detectors for their space telescope; Marty proposes to discuss/collaborate
Jim gave an update on his MAPS simulations studies: 1. shower finding - ECal hexagonal pixels, unexpectedly good results with naive algorithm; 2. π0 reconstruction in the ECal (no magnetic field atm). Jim works by himself atm on these studies but trying to get some undergrad students up to speed.
Chris D. will ask Nigel Watts about MAPS investigations in the UK
Jim gave an update on the activities of the advisory panel set up by MEXT to review the ILC
everybody - discussion on future of ILC vs. FCCe vs. EIC and general science funding situation in Europe and US
