Minutes:

  • Jim presented further results from his MAPS studies; demonstrated E resolution with reduced layers; multi-shower display shows the power of pixel segmentation.
  • Valentina talked about her H->ss studies (K/pi discrimination at the ILC); perhaps with future technology we can include a (25 cm?) RICH in the limited radial space of SiD (?); RICH efficiency calculations by Jerry; full simulation studies needed to assess the viability of a RICH for SiD.
  • Discussion about the MEXT ILC Oct 15 meeting: Chris P. asking Andy about US perception wrt the talks. US seemed more positive than the EU wrt ILC involvement.
