  • Yasuhiro reported om activities to study the possibility of onsite winding, Makida-san and Sanuki-san are in contact with Toshiba
  • Also, Yasuhiro reported on the preparation of a basic design report of ILC-CFS that may be required in case the supplementary funding requested by MEXT will materialsi itself. Yasuhiro has written the chapter on the detector halls
  • Karsten reported on a workshop on large magnets, Al strained cables for large solenoids bay become an issue alse since the main expertise is at Efremenkov St. Petersburg. CiCC (Cable in Copper Conduit) seems to be an alternative, increases however the material budget. Moreover, Karsten reported on a possible Belle II/FCC PhD thesis on machine background from ehich also ILC may profit
  • In the same sense Roman reported on a meeting with local (i,e. IJCLab) Belle II groups to probe for opportunities of common studies. There are three fields where cooperation Belle II/ILC may be possible
    • Beam pipe design (cooling not-cooling) background in vertex detectors and elsewhere (sorry for the very general terms).
    • Polarimetry, meaning people are trained on Belle II laser power and extrapolations to higher laser powers can be considered
    • Beam diagnosis and fast luminosity measyrements
  • All this is vague and has to be consolidated in the coming weeks.
  • We agreed to have regular meetings (~once a month) among the convenors but also regular working meetings (~every two months). More would be possible if the momentum would increase. These working meetings should really deal with ongoing work or interesting current developments (and not a series of reviews as 2021/22)
  • The goal is to have a first working meeting around end of January (and maybe one short convener meeting beforehand)
  • We also should start slowly to prepare the LCWS sessions.
