The CALICE 2017 Spring meeting will take place on the 2nd day of the Spring, Wednesday 22nd at LLR at Ecole polytechnique.

The ILC team of LLR is eager to welcome you on the campus for those 3 days.
An indico page has been set-up with a preliminary agenda, travel and lodging information, a preregistration page.

Travel & Visa

First we urge those needing a visa to check the relevant information as soon as possible, and contact the local organising committee if an invitation letter is requested.

Paris is airports are Roissy-CDG, Orly (20 km from the campus) and Beauvais (60 km north-west from Paris, for low-cost flights, with a shuttle service to porte de Maillot).
Beside the Paris 4 main trains stations, the Massy-TGV station is an option, very close to the campus.

Maps and directions to the Polytechnique campus can be found here.
From the airports, you should count 1h30 from Roissy and 30 mins from Orly by public transportation. For those in a hurry, a taxi trip will cost about 90€ (35€) and take 1h (20mins) from Roissy (Orly).

Lodging:

We have made a short list of neighbouring hotels (up to Paris, 40 mins away by train and buses). You can also find affordable local lodging on airbnb or roomlala.

Registation & Payment

Registration will be a two step process, first on the indico, without payment, and later on the dedicated CNRS site for payment. Registration fees will cover 3 lunches, coffee breaks, reception and social dinner.

Registration is mandatory to get access to the campus.

Participation to the social diner is optional (but highly recommanded!) and open to accompanying persons, at a cost of 63€.

Restauration & Social events.

Lunches will take place in a reserved room at the canteen (dubbed Magnan by the students after a non-linear lexicographical morphism).  A small coffee shop is available also nearby.

On Wednesday evening a reception is organised on-site in the Salon d'honneur.

The social dinner is organised in Paris; the most probable choice is the "Train Bleu" restaurant inside the Gare de Lyon, in Paris, This is easily accessible from Massy to Austerlitz and a 400m walk above the Seine river or more rapidly through the deepest known levels of the Chatelet station.
