Minutes: 

  • Andy is investigating HCal performance, drawing from CALICE studies: alignment issues, response uniformity, SiPM calibration, temperature variations and corrections; SiPM simulations & prototypes; SiD HCal construction/geometry issues; studies to be continued.
  • Jim gave another update on his ECal MAPS simulations; using more realistic simulation/geometry; comparisons of "mip-like" and "delta-like" clusters
  • Discussions about the ILC pre-lab timelines and budgets; quantum computing
  • Chris P: inviting feedback on the draft LCWS2021 proceeding at https://arxiv.org/abs/2106.00819
