Description

The main technical difficulties associated with measurement of the top quark threshold are from uncertainties in the luminosity spectrum due to the large beamstrahlung and the determination of absolute beam energy of the two beams. We present the ongoing developments to measure both the beam energy using electron beam diagnostics and the luminosity spectrum using the acollinearity of Bhabha events. Also presented are studies of systematic effects which were believed to cause difficulties with extracting the luminosity spectrum from Bhabha events.
