Major issues are listed below;
(1) Readiness and integration of control software
(2) Commissioning schedule, taking into account a variety of issues, including:
o the funding situation facing the collaboration;
o a wide-ranging R&D program, and high-visibility goals for ATF2;
o the range of different optics required for different beam studies;
o the reproducibility of optics and good beam quality required for ATF2;
o scheduling of meetings;
o external timing constraints (e.g. for completion of PhD theses).
(3) Detailed planning of longer-term studies.
It will be important to know the schedule for studies of fast extraction kickers, to be able to define the commissioning schedule for ATF2.
The expected outcome of this meeting would be an optimized strategy and an
overall schedule which would allow efficient ATF2 commissioning and minimized
interference with various short and long term studies at ATF.
