Minutes of LCUK Silicon Meeting 3rd September

Joel announced that the strawman and requirements documentation on the wiki were up to date, and people should contribute suggestions and corrections.

LCWS in Whistler is in November. Phil, Aidan, Joost and Joel are going.

Eva gave a presentation on the design and status of the CMOS test chip that Liverpool is developing with collaborators.

Aidan gave a short update on work at Glasgow including testing of a CMOS chip. On the software side, they have successfully changed geometry through the full chain. Implementation of timing resolution is still outstanding.

It was agreed to split the silicon work into two main activities: mechanics (led by Joost) and software (led by Aidan). There will be a third "activity" on "systems", which is mainly a catch-all for everything else. The details including tasks and interested institutes are on the wiki.

The next meeting will be virtual, on 14th October.
