How to reach Urban Hotel (Reception on Saturday 18th April)
Reception of the CALICE meeting at KEK will be held on Saturday at Urban hotel, where some of the participants will be staying.

For the hotel guests the hotel provides free shuttle-bus service from Tsukuba Station to the hotel. Please contact by

After the reception, the hotel will provide shuttle-bus service to Tsukuba Station and Kenkyu-gakuen Station, for those who stay at other hotels.
How to reach KEK on Sunday 19th April
Shuttle-bus transportation between hotels and KEK will NOT be arranged by the ALCW2015 on Sunday 19th April. Therefore participants of the CALICE meeting on Sunday are kindly asked to move by themselves in other ways. Please refer to the following webpages:
From Urban Hotel:
- Option A) Ask the hotel for free shuttle-bus service to KEK.
- Option B) Walk to KEK. It takes about 30 min (2.2 km).
- Option C) Take a taxi to KEK.
- Option D) Walk to the bus stop “Oho Madoguchi Center” (the bus stop number “H03”, 8 min walk from the hotel) and then take a public bus (Tsukubus “Hokubu-Shuttle”) bound for “Tsukubasan-guchi”. Get off at KEK (the bus stop number “H04”, about 5 min, 200 JPY).
From Hotel Grand Shinonome or a hotel around the Tsukuba Station
- Option A) Take a public bus (Tsukubus “Hokubu-Shuttle”) bound for “Tsukubasan-guchi”. The bus stop is # 3 at the “Tsukuba Center” (the bus stop number “H01”). Get off at KEK (the bus stop number “H04”, about 18 min, 300 JPY).
- Option B) Take a taxi to KEK. It takes about 20 min and costs about 3,000 JPY.
From Toyoko Inn Tsukuba Express Kenkyu-gakuen-eki Kita-guchi
- Option A) Take a Tsukuba Express (TX) train from “Kenkyu-gakuen” Station to “Tsukuba” Station (about 2 min., 170 JPY), and take a public bus (Tsukubus “Hokubu-Shuttle”) bound for “Tsukubasan-guchi”. The bus stop is # 3 at the “Tsukuba Center” (the bus stop number “H01”). Get off at KEK (“H04”, about 18 min., 300 JPY).
- Option B) Take a taxi to KEK. It takes about 20 min and costs about 3,000 JPY.
Transportation for the CALICE Dinner on Monday 20th April
Shuttle-bus transportation from KEK to the restaurant “Sasanoya”, and from the restaurant to the hotels is arranged.
Accommodations
It is recommended to book hotel rooms as soon asn possible, as another big conference will take place in the same week in Tsukuba. You may book a room via the ALCW2015 registration page, where the following hotels can be chosen.
