Hotels are plentiful around the workshop location. We suggest you use 3rd party booking sites to find a hotel at a suitable location and price.
Some registrants have reported receiving fishing emails offering to organise your accommodation in Tokyo. These are nothing to do with the LCWS organisers: we have not asked any company to make you such offers. We strongly advise you to ignore these offers and make your own arrangements, either booking directly with a hotel, through a reputable travel agent, or by using an online service such as booking.com, travel.rakuten.com, tripadvisor.com, etc.
There are many nearby restaurants at which you can take lunch and dinner, as well as several on-campus cafeterias and cafes.
A welcome reception will be held on Monday evening, and the workshop dinner will take place on Wednesday evening; they are included in the conference fee, as are coffee breaks during the workshop.
The workshop dinner will be held at the Royal Park Hotel. Please make your own way there using public transport. The closest subway station is Suitengumae Station on the Hanzomon line. From the U.Tokyo campus, take the Marunouchi line from Hongo Sanchomae station, and change to the Hanzomon line at Otemachi station.
