The 2026 International Workshop on Future Linear Colliders (LCWS2026) continues the established series devoted to the study of the physics, detectors, and accelerator technologies for high-energy electron–positron colliders.

Linear colliders are one of the most compelling options for a next-generation Higgs factory, complementary to circular collider proposals. They offer a unique and flexible path toward higher centre-of-mass energies and luminosities, enabling a long-term exploration of the electroweak scale and beyond. At the same time, many key technologies and physics goals are shared across linear and circular approaches, opening important opportunities for synergy and collaboration within the global community.

Since the last workshop (LCWS2025), significant progress has been made in both linear collider concepts and the broader Higgs factory landscape. LCWS2026 will highlight recent developments and future prospects, with particular emphasis on the long-term vision of linear colliders—including energy and luminosity upgrades—as well as their interplay with circular collider initiatives.

With a comprehensive program of plenary and parallel sessions, the workshop will provide an opportunity to present ongoing work, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration across communities working toward future Higgs factories.

The workshop is scheduled from 9th to 13th of November at KEK. More detailed information will follow.
