Description

HALHF is a proposed hybrid linear collider with highly asymmetric beam energies. WarpX, a Particle-In-Cell (PIC) code capable of self-consistently simulating beam-beam effects, including beamstrahlung, has been used to characterise the luminosity spectrum expected at HALHF for three different baseline designs with centre of mass energies of 250 GeV, 380 GeV and 550 GeV. The resulting luminosity spectra are compared with independent simulations performed using GUINEA-PIG, a dedicated beam-beam interaction simulation code widely used for linear collider studies. We present the luminosity distributions obtained with both simulation approaches and demonstrate good agreement between them.
