Oral presentation (onsite) Beyond the Standard Model Joint: Higgs/EW and BSM

Speaker

Dr Johannes Braathen (DESY)

Description

I will present a comprehensive phenomenological study of the real inert singlet-triplet dark matter model. This model extends the Standard Model (SM) with 2 inert scalars: a gauge-singlet and an SU(2)_L-triplet with hypercharge 0. The analysis takes into account state-of-the-art theoretical and experimental constraints. A central focus of our work lies on beyond-the-SM (BSM) two-loop corrections to key Higgs observables, mainly the trilinear Higgs self-coupling and the Higgs-to-diphoton partial decay width. For these, the leading two-loop contributions arising from the extended scalar sector have been computed. The impact on di-Higgs production processes at present and future colliders is explored. Finally, I will compare this model with the well-studied Inert Doublet Model (IDM) and Inert Triplet Model (ITM), highlighting unique signatures of the singlet-triplet model.
