Oral presentation (onsite) Beyond the Standard Model Joint: Higgs/EW and BSM

Speaker

Yushi MURA (KEK)

Description

Extended Higgs sectors are motivated by various problems beyond the Standard Model, such as dark matter, neutrino masses, and the baryon asymmetry of the Universe.
Future linear colliders provide powerful probes of such scenarios through precision measurements of Higgs properties, including the Higgs self-coupling.
In many extended Higgs models, scalar quartic couplings tend to grow toward higher energies due to their positive beta functions, potentially developing a Landau pole below the Planck scale and thereby requiring a UV completion.
In this talk, we discuss possible ultraviolet completions of extended Higgs sectors motivated by various BSM problems.
We consider a confining SU(2) gauge theory as an ultraviolet completion and classify the symmetries in the theory to investigate what types of extended Higgs sectors can emerge in the infrared.
We show that a broad class of phenomenologically motivated extended Higgs sectors can be realized within this common ultraviolet framework.
This talk is based on Phys.Rev.D 113 (2026) 5, 055020.
(Notice: As I write in the comment, I can give a talk with the schedule on Nov. 10.)
