Description
Future accelerators are major scientific and also industrial challenges. Turning ambitious concepts into reliable machines requires companies capable of designing, manufacturing, integrating and validating highly complex, often one-of-a-kind systems.
Over the last decades, Spain has developed a mature and highly specialised Big Science industrial ecosystem, with proven experience in some of the world's most demanding scientific facilities.
This talk will present some representative examples of these capabilities and, above all, an invitation to the international accelerator community to share their technological challenges: Spanish industry are experts in co-creation and eager to collaborate, transforming demanding specifications into working hardware.
Also, the talk will introduce INEUSTAR (the Spanish Science Industry Association) as a gateway to the Spanish Science Industry, helping research organisations and international partners identify the right industrial capabilities for their technological needs.
