Description
The discovery of the Higgs boson has opened new avenues to probe physics beyond the Standard Model. Extended Higgs sectors predict additional scalar and pseudoscalar states that can modify Higgs production at the LHC. In this talk, we investigate pseudoscalar contributions to Higgs-strahlung, the associated production of a Higgs and Z boson, within the Two Higgs Doublet Model and its extension with a complex singlet scalar. We study both light and heavy pseudoscalar scenarios and examine their effects on the total and differential production rates. While a light pseudoscalar near 95 GeV has a limited impact on the production rate, heavier pseudoscalars can lead to significant deviations from the Standard Model prediction and constrain otherwise viable regions of parameter space. We discuss the implications of current LHC measurements and the prospects for improved sensitivity with future data.
