Description
We present a comparison of Local and Traditional Final-Focus System (FFS) schemes for the Hybrid Asymmetric Linear Higgs Factory (HALHF), considering Beam Delivery System (BDS) length, optical performance, chromatic correction and sensitivity to the incoming beam emittances. The Local scheme offers a more compact BDS. The Traditional scheme may, however, provide a more robust solution due to reduced geometric aberrations and could accommodate the larger emittances required by the HALHF beam parameters. This study explores the trade-off between compactness, luminosity performance and emittance acceptance, providing a common framework for further optimisation and selection of the HALHF FFS concept.
