Description

Recently an analysis of Fermi-LAT data has claimed a significant excess of energetic photons centred around 20 GeV, in the halo of our galaxy. This excess can be interpreted as coming from SUSY dark matter (DM) objects with a mass of few 100 GeV which annihilate into hadronic jets containing photons mainly from neutral pions. This observation is independently backed up by an observation of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) dectector of a DM candidate in the same region of mass. To avoid contradiction with upper limits coming from dwarf galaxies, one is led to assume the presence of a ~TeV spin 2 resonance coupled near threshold to these objects, explaining this difference as due to different speed distributions in the two regions. This work recalls that LHC data indicate a tower of Kaluza Klein graviton resonances which can do this job. If these resonances are coupled to e+e-, as indicated by LHC data, an e+e- collider reaching a TeV centre of mass energy could observe these DM objects, within SUSY, through a very abdundant production of charginos by sitting on one of these resonances. We also conclude that, due to mass quasi-degeneracy, it will be challenging but not impossible for LHC to observe these particles.
